Eligibility
- Bhutanese citizens having valid business license wishing to expand existing business for the purpose of trade and commerce.
- The loan should be backed by the fixed assets.
- The loan limit can be computed by adding the stock/contract value and security value.
- Insurance is mandatory for loan against stocks.
Quantum
- The maximum LTV is 75% of the collateral value & stock value; however, the loan limit should not exceed the immovable property value.
Tenure
- Maximum of 10 years
Documents Required
- Loan Application form duly filled and signed on all the page
- Copy of citizenship identity of the applicant and guarantor, if applicable
- Recent passport size photograph of the applicant and guarantor
- Copy of ownership certificates of securities offered to the bank
- Property valuation/assessment/estimate certificates
- Copy of valid trade license
- Income and expenditure / Profit and Loss and Balance sheet for the last two years (preferably audited, if applicable)
- Projected sales and purchases for the next 12 months
- Letter of Consent for extension of charges (only fixed assets) duly signed by the property owner, if applicable
- Approved drawings for the new projects if applicable.
- Stamped Consent/No Objection letter for family-owned land, family tree (household) register issued by Department of Civil Registration and Census, MoHCA (if applicable).
- Stamped and witness consent letter for extension of charges duly signed by the property owner, if applicable.
