About Us
T Bank Ltd is a licensed commercial bank in the Kingdom of Bhutan, operating under the Financial Institutions Act of 1992 and incorporated under the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan 2000. The bank officially began its operations on 12th March 2010 with the opening of its Corporate Office and a branch in Thimphu. Its primary aim was to address the increasing demand for banking services among the public and to enhance competition within Bhutan’s financial sector. Since its inception, the bank has extended its presence to ten key locations across the country.
The bank operates as a public limited company, with 60% of its shares held by major promoters and the remaining 40% offered to the public. It has a paid-up capital of Nu. 600 million, out of an authorized capital of Nu. 1,000 million. The bank offers a full range of domestic and international banking products and services to its clients.
